Comic en noir et blanc, Johnny The Homicidal Maniac (JTHM) a été écris et dessiné par Jhonen Vasquez. Commencé dns un magazine goth amerloque comme une petite série de strips, 7 comics ont été publié par la suite chez Slave Labor Graphics d'août 95 à janvier 97. La série à par la suite débouché sur Squee! et I feel Sick (un seul tome).

L'energie de la série est basée sur l'humour noir, avec une bose dose d'ironie et de cynisme, ponctuée d'une louche de gore. Ultra-violent, mais addictif.

Elle narre l'histoire de Jhonny (Nny pour les intimes), tueur en série, en masse, tortuonaire... légèrement déviant. Généralement, peu de gens survivent entier sur son passage, si ce n'est son charmant petit voisin de 6 ans, Squee.

Bref, du sang, de l'humour et des hommes-nouilles... Que du bon! Malheureusement, ils n'ont pas été traduit [officiellement] en français...
